The following are some pictures of the restaurant. It was a quiet night there, so we lingered, before and after dinner! It was very nice! First we went in and sat at the bar. We unfortunately didn't get a picture, but it was very nice. They had tea lights lit all around the wooden bar, and there were only 2 other people at the bar, so we had plenty of chance to talk. We notified them of our reservation and they told us to just take our time! John and I had a cocktail and just chatted. The entire staff were very attentive, and tended to us fantastically!
We were thinking of getting a bottle of wine to celebrate, but their prices were horribly expensive, for strange wines. We expected to pay a lot for a Silver Oak, Jordan or Justin, but those weren't even on the menu. Joseph Phelps seemed to be the wine of their liking, and it was SO overpriced it was lame. We decided to just have cocktails. Even if we had a few, it would be much cheaper than ordering a wine we weren't sure about. So we stuck with cocktails. John wanted a "grog" (he had one last year for my Bd and Mom and David's Ann. when we were at the Nugget, the night we saw Chris Issak) but the bartender didn't know how to make one. He wanted something with rum, so the waitress talked him into this tangerine concoction. He liked it well enough, but it wasn't his Grog (and I think he thought it was a bit "girlie"). I tried one of their special drinks as well, a Cucumber Martini. It was good, was nice and tart, but not too cucumber"y". He went to a Mai Tai after this and I went back to my Dirty Martini!
Our appetizer was the Ahi 4 Ways. It was VERY good! It consisted of, Tempura with ponzu, poke with eg, sashimi with soy, seared with nuoc cham. It was a fun appetizer to have!
Um, this was our salad. I told John at some point I would forget to take a picture...and this was it!!! We shared the Organic Baby Lettuces Salad with Pt. Reyes Bleu Cheese. I call this the "weed" salad, but John really enjoys the "weeds" and the selection they had, I enjoyed as well. The dressing was very good and the cheese was nice and soft! Trust me, it was beautiful as well!!!
For dinner I had their 10 oz. skirt steak, medium rare. It was served with fried kennebec potatoes tossed with herbs, béarnaise and peppercorn sauces. It was really cooked to perfection and was delicious!!!!
John had their 13oz Five Dot Ranch New York steak with fried kennebec potatoes tossed with herbs, béarnaise and peppercorn sauces. His had quite a bit of fat on it, and that was a dissapointment, but it was delicious. He also had bowl of fresh spinach, which we shared.
After dinner we shared a glass of Taylor Faldgate 20 Year Tawny Porto, which we both enjoyed. We had that with dessert.

For dessert we shared their Warm Chocolate Cake with Vanilla ice cream and malted milk chocolate sauce, which was recommended by our waitress. It was so delicious and they even put an edible "Happy Annivesary" banner across the top!
We had a wonderful time, and it was great to get out just the two of us, and it was nice to have an uncrowded restaurant so we could just take our time and enjoy the wonderful atomosphere!
