Here are some shots of Justin's swim class yesterday. He finished another poriton of level III in Aaron's class; he starts another portion of level III on Monday. We aren't sure who is teacher is. They have been working on strong kicking, freestyle swimming, and the back stroke. They have also been working up to treading water for 5 minutes at a time in the 9 foot section of the pool. Aaron and Charlie had them do swim fitness drills one day as well, where they would get out of the pool and do either 10 push ups or sit ups, then they would jump back into the pool and swim freestyle to the other end. Once they got to the other end they would jump out and do 10 push ups or sit ups, and then they would jump back in and do the back stroke to the other end of the pool. They kept this up until the last 5 minutes of class where they are allowed to do any kind of jumps off the diving board (no flips) and then swim to the ladder and do it again! He's been having a blast and Jacob is enjoying being at the pool as well. I can tell I need to get him a swim suit! The pool has family swim each night from 5:15-7 and John and I have been talking and we'd like to do that one night soon. I think I'll go to the second hand baby store here by the house and try and find Jacob a swim suit and then all he needs is some Huggies Little Swimmers!!!
