Inner House Updates :-)

This is the pine ceiling. Well, half of it anyway! The half that is over the kitchen and dining room areas. It's looking so great!

This is the accent color that is going into the boys' room and the Master. The color is called Crocodile Tears. Who thinks up this stuff! This is Jacob's room

Here's Linda putting the accent color in our room.

John and Bob started putting the cabinets up in the kitchen. This is the pantry that will be on the right side of the refrigerator.

Early Thanksgiving Celebration!

Friday we celebrated an early Thanksgiving with my parents, Theresa and Shawn. Since we can't commit to celebrating the holiday anywhere, because we could be moving in to our new house (yay!) Mom was awesome and planned (and cooked) a whole celebration dinner! I was bummed I didn't get to make it with you (like I love to do) but it sure turned out delicious! We even shopped the next day and had turkey sandwiches for lunch, so we held up with the tradition. Speaking of tradition, we normally name the turkey, since we have to molest it (clean it) and all! Justin named the turkey this year, and here he is, in all his glory:

Mickey Bird
Here are Mom and David getting the stuffing out (so delicious!) and getting him ready to carve!

Justin and his turkey leg!!!!!! Grrrrrr!

Gram-Gram and Justin getting the specialty whipped cream ready for dessert! We had our choice of pumpkin or apple pie! Yummmmmmm!

Gram-Gram, Jacob and "Joey". Jacob was "teething" on Joey! And practicing getting kisses! By the time we got home, Jacob had his first tooth! I've tried to get a picture of it but....

Visiting with Aunt Carla

Sunday on our way home from Mom's we stopped in Elk Grove at the On the Border. John's sister Carla and her two daughters were up visiting so we met them for lunch at OTB. That is one of our favorite restaurants and they closed the one in Reno...so it was extra fun to be able to go there again. We hadn't been there since Jacob was born.

Here is Jacob's first picture with Aunt Carla!

Who's having more fun here???

Fun with Gram-Gram and Joey!

We spent the weekend at my parents' house and Mom found her old Cabbage Patch Dolls! She gave this one to Jacob (his name is Joey) and he had so much fun playing with it with Gram-Gram!
